BDZ-PP SIEMENS Smartron No. 80053 passes Chelopech on the Sub-Balkan main line on 9th October 2023. Working train service FAST 3602 (05:30) Burgas to Sofia this train will not stop at this location. The station building at Chelopech is a rather substantial structure but appears to be un-staffed. The line just visible on the extreme right of the image provides the connection to the adjacent Chelopech Mine running through the platform area of which there are two. Although deserted this location is served by the local stopping services between Sofia and Koprishstica operated by BDZ Class 30 and 31 EMU stock.
