British dominance at Iliyantsi Yard on the northern outskirts of the Bulgarian City of Sofia. Present on 9th May 2023 from left to right are Class 87s Nos. 87034, 87028, 87004 (Still carrying it's UK 'Britannia' nameplate) and 87003 stabled behind GFR (Grup Feroviar Roman) Class 40 No. 40-0817. Last but in no means least, imported Class 86 No. 86231 'Lady of the Lake' very much active and operational with the Ruse-based BULMARKET private freight company. The latter has been reclassified as Class 85 in Bulgaria and renumbered as 85-005 to avoid confusion with the former Danish Class 86 locomotives. It too retains it's former UK nameplate.
