An incident on the GWR main line west of Taunton on 6th July 2023 resulted in some GWR services being diverted via Yeovil Junction and Honiton. Hitachi IET set Nos.802009 and 802008 make an unscheduled pass through Axminster with the (13:03) London Paddington to Plymouth, adding around an hour of additional travelling time to this service.
