Colas Rail branded LNER-liveried HST power cars Nos. 43272 and 43290 are assigned to working the (05:56) Reading to Salisbury via Exeter New Yard NMT (New Measurement Train) which is captured passing Abbey Gate on the south western outskirts of Axminster on 29th June 2023. The two bridges carry the busy A35 coast road over the railway and surrounding farmland, thankfully on this occasion without a vehicle in sight. Not even a cyclist!.
