Class 31 No. 31465, with Mk2 DBSO No. 9701, are captured working a Network Rail infrastructure working from Chard Junction to Exeter Riverside Yard on 25th August 2009. This train spent three days in the area working out of Exeter before eventually departing to Eastleigh. Here No. 31465 tackles the lower part of the formidable Honiton Bank as it climbs through Whitford towards Seaton Junction with the 15:43 Chard Junction to Exeter Riverside Yard working, having earlier run out to the junction from Exeter Central station.
