Bringing the BR era to Axminster station on 7th March 2019, is Inter-City 125-liveried power car No. 43002 'Sir Kenneth Grange' with classmate No. 43025 at the rear, working the 13:03 London Paddington to Penzance service. While within the three mile Axminster Loop the 13:16 Plymouth to Paddington will pass by in the opposite direction.
