In early 2019, DB driver training on the former LSWR route, better known today as the West of England Line, took place ahead of planned freight flow diversions prior to a forthcoming three week blockade at Whiteball Tunnel. DB Cargo UK Class 66/0 No. 66107 passes Axminster on 24th January 2019, running as the 07:29 Westbury Yard to Exeter Riverside Yard 'light engine' trip. This was one of several such runs conducted during January and February.
