By 2018 the adoption of the EVN European Vehicle Number system, (52 for Bulgaria) was widespread although not complete across the Bulgarian Railway system. on 16th October Skoda Electric Loco 91 52 0044 105-2 (previously just 44-105) gathers speed following the stop at Zverino station with service FAST 2610 Varna to Sofia Central. I wonder what happened to the original metal locomotive number plates that used to adorn the front of the locomotives? Fortunately the body side plates of the latter are still in place, just visible in this view.
