The 28th April 2012 was not a particularly pleasant day. Overcast, decidedly chilly with a persistent presence of moisture in the air blowing into ones face, but the wait was well rewarded, when the Great Britain V charter came into view. Here SR Battle of Britain Class Pacific No. 34067 Tangmere double-heads with BR Britannia Class 7MT No. 70013 Oliver Cromwell through Stoneycombe at the foot of Dainton Bank with the Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance section.
