When travelling through Bulgaria there are two things that you are almost guaranteed to come across, BDZ Skoda electric locomotives and a LiDL! BDZ PP (Putnicheski Prevosi/Passenger Company) Skoda No. 44-155 slows for the station stop at Pernik on 18th April 2017, working it's way south from the capital Sofia to Blagoevgrad and Dupnica. Pernik is a relatively industrialised area in western Bulgaria which enjoys two separate routes from nearby Sofia with the addition of a freight avoiding line which runs further west of the town.
