Aldomirovtsi in Western Bulgaria is the location where the branch connection from the Beli-Breg coal mine joins the electrified Sofia to Dragoman main line. The Coal traffic is handled by private operator TBD TP from Beli-Breg to the massive Bo-Bov Dol power Complex near Dupnitsa. In this scene taken on 30th August 2022, Class 06 No. 06-303 which had earlier brought the loaded coal hoppers in from the mine is pictured taking up position to retrace its route back down the branch with the returning empty rake of distinctive yellow hoppers. In the background Skoda 44-083 is ready to depart with a substantial load of open cast coal for the power station.
