A classic example of how the Rhodope Valley Railway was cut through the landscape of the Bulgarian Rhodope Mountain range. Construction on the line from Septemvri began in 1921 reaching Velingrad in 1926 but completion of the line all the way south to Dobrinishte was not accomplished until 1945. Henschel B-B diesel 750006 is captured working south through Yurukovo, this section of the line constructed in the early 1940s. BDZ train service Ord 16103 Septemvri to Dobrinishte on 21st July 2019.
