Following the arduous virtually constant southbound climb through the Chepino Valley the approach to Velingrad offers a bit of respite for Henschel B-B No. 75005 on the relatively level section of track at Velingrad. Pictured with the afternoon Ord 16105 (13:20) service from Septemvri to Dobrinishte the locomotive will soon be hard at work once again as the route steepens out of Velingrad into the torturous climb to the summit of the line at Avramovo, 1,267 m.a.s.l. Location is eastern boundary of Velingrad on road R84, Rhodope Valley Railway on 13th June 2017.
