Previously operated by the Bulgarian State Railway (BDZ) on passenger duties 44-083 was purchased by TBD Freight Transports for the movement of coal to the Bobov Dol Power Complex in South West Bulgaria. Having arrived with empty hoppers and stabled the latter on the Aldomirovtsi collection siding 44-083 has run round and coupled to a loaded rake, soon to depart for the Bobov Dol Power Complex near Dupnitsa. The loaded coal hoppers had earlier been conveyed from the Beli Breg open cast mine by TBD Class 60 diesel traction, the empties ultimately to be collected in reciprocal fashion on 25th March 2022.
