On Saturday 22nd March the first public through train from Gloucester to Parkend since 1927 was jointly organised by the Dean Forest Railway and First Great Western. FGW provided Class 150/2 No. 150244 and having arrived from Gloucester, operated a number of return trips alternating with the DFRs resident DMUs before returning to Gloucester.
Here No. 150244 is seen reversing at Norchard High level, having just arrived from Parkend and preparing to retrace its steps.
