Rarely photographed and the last member of its Class, Hymek diesel hydraulic No. D7100 is between duties at Exeter St Davids on 22nd June 1971. It was new from Beyer Peacock Ltd in February 1964 and first allocated to Newton Abbot (83A). After a criminally short working life of just 8 years and 8 months, it was withdrawn from service in November 1972 and cut up at Swindon Works during December 1974.
