GWR '64XX' Class 0-6-0PT No. 6435 waits for the day's work to begin at Buckfastleigh MPD on the morning of 18th September 1991. The South Devon Railway had not long taken over the line from the Dart Valley Railway and the northern section to Ashburton had been lost to the A38 trunk road. The loco was new from Swindon Works in April 1937 and withdrawn from Yeovil Town MPD during October 1964.
