The former Southern Railway station at Okehampton has been returned to the pristine condition it probably had in pre-Nationalisation days. Sadly, trains no longer ply through this Devonian town while en-route from London Waterloo to Padstow, but the Dartmoor Railway runs trains for enthusiasts and walkers between Sampford Courtney (a few miles towards Exeter) and Meldon Quarry (3-miles west). This image shows Class 201 'Thumper' No. 1132 working the 14:40 Okehampton to Meldon Quarry on 14th July 2012.
