With the few remaining Merseyrail Class 507 units working their final months of operation, former 'British Rail'-liveried Class 507 No. 507001 with 'Proud to serve the Liverpool City Region for 46 Years' branding, awaits departure time at Southport with a service to Hunts Cross on 16th July 2024. These fine units with classmate No. 507023 alongside are in the process of being replaced by the new fleet of 'Stadler' built Class 777 DC EMUs.
