During the past week engineering works have once again taken place along the Berks and Hants' route which has seen a number of engineering trains passing through the Bristol area. In this view taken at Ashley Hill, one such working is seen with Powerhaul Class 66/5 No. 66528 'Madge Elliot MBE - Borders Railway Opening' powering the 09:36 Newbury- Westbury Down Yard on a dull 12th December 2024.
