It is a number of years since the Class 86/6 25kV electric locomotives were utilised on selected container workings throughout parts of the U.K rail network. In their place, electric traction in the form of the highly successful Class 90s see continued use as seen in this few at Camden Road. Here, a pair of ‘Genesee and Wyoming'-liveried Class 90s, Nos. 90044 with 90003 glide through atop the 10:20 Trafford Park-Felixstowe North FLT on a sunny 18th September 2024.
