Having been constructed in 1893 for use at the Penrhyn slate quarry, Hunslet 2-4-0STT Locomotives No. 589 'Blanche' and No. 590 'Linda' enjoy a busy retirement hauling numerous and varied workings. In this view taken at Porthmadog, both locomotives look resplendent in their Ffestiniog lined green livery while awaiting their next turns of duty on a sunny 6th July 2024.
