The colourful tones of early spring have given way to differing shades of green with splashes of white blossom which are seen at Didcot North junction. Here, 'Hanson'-liveried Class 59/1 No. 59103 'Village of Mells' passes by atop the 12:49 Appleford-Whatley Quarry empties on 17th May 2023. This one of a few services currently operating north of Didcot due to ongoing repair works being undertaken on Nuneham Viaduct.
