In addition to the regular 'DCR' operated Appleford-Tytherington quarry diagrams, workings have once again returned Machen quarry as seen in this view at Patchway. Here, under glorious sunshine 'DCR' Class 60 No. 60029 'Ben Nevis' is on full power while hauling a uniform raft of 'JNA' loaded box wagons forming the 11:15 Machen quarry-Appleford on the final day January 2023.
