Gorna Oryahovitsa Box No. 4 controls the entrance/exit to Gorna locomotive depot, situated at the western end of the station platforms. on 7th September 2022, Romanian-built Class 55 diesel shunter and light freight locomotive 55-206 exits the depot. It is pictured about to run through the station area on Platform 1, stop, sign some kind of paper work and return into the Depot as quickly as it emerged. Meanwhile BDZ TP 'Ludmilla' 07-048 can be seen also waiting to come off shed and commence some shunting activity in the yard on the north side of the station.
