With the platform shelter of Chester station forming the backdrop, 'Merseyrail' Class 508 No. 508114 departs the station with an out and back working to Liverpool Central on a warm and sunny 1st June 2022. Scenes such as this will change in the near future with the withdrawal of these fine units in favour of the new breed of Class 777 'Stadler Rail' DC EMU's.
