For many years the Sims Metal Group at Newport Docks have received numerous items of redundant rolling stock for scrapping. Here at Patchway, the recently displaced fleet of 'Southern' Class 455 DC EMUs are the latest items for disposal, in this instance Nos. 455811 and 455824. Providing the motive power is GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66765 atop the 10:33 Stewarts lane-Newport Dock Simms Group on 26th May 2022.
