Clear blue skies permit unbroken sunshine to illuminate the cab area of Merseyrail Class 508 No. 508104 as it makes it scheduled stop at Birkenhead North on 7th September 2021. Although the lower bodyside is rather grubby in appearance, it highlights the pronounced vertical chamfer which neatly joins the curved bodyside profile to the front square end of the cab.
