With trees covering Box hill, an unidentified Class 800 IET unit passes the ornate portal of the 1.83 mile long Box tunnel forming the 17:02 London Paddington-Bath Spa service on 26th August 2021. Despite the portal giving the illusion the tunnel remains at this height throughout its entire length, in fact it tapers down to significantly smaller dimensions upon entry.
