Having passed through the lengthy tunnels beneath Clerkenwell, an LUL 'S' stock No. 21081 emerges from the gloom and enters Farringdon on an unidentified working. In this view taken on 13th May 2021, the high retaining walls exhibit the style of railway architecture often seen in urban areas as seen here. Also in view towards the lower right of the photograph, are the 25kV 'Thameslink' or 'Widened lines' which emerge from 'Clerkenwell' tunnel No. 3.
