During the past year or so, workings conveying redundant rolling stock for scrapping at Simms Group in Newport have included, 25kV EMU's and MK3 HST vehicles on a regular basis. In a departure from the aforementioned, a more unusual consist sees former 'LNER' DVT No. 82202 and seven Mk4s making their last run along the main line being hauled by 'ROG' Class 57 No. 57312 atop the 08:47 Worksop-Newport Simms Group. This is Westerleigh on a glorious 8th March 2021.
