A a very drab morning at Bristol Temple Meads sees two Hitachi GWR Class 800 IEP units enter the station while powering a test working from Stoke Gifford with Class 800 No. 800003 leading. The rear No. 800004 'Ismabard Kingdom Brunel' was detached at Bristol and returned to Stoke Gifford via Reading. The leading set continued to Taunton and returned to Stoke Gifford later that day. Interestingly this set is part-liveried as seen here with one side already re-liveried while the other side of the unit awaits completion on 9th June 2017.
