In a departure to the normal traction seen at Bristol Temple Meads, two Class 73/9 Electro-Diesel locomotives arrive at the station while working a light engine move from Derby RTC-Plymouth Laira. The leading locomotive is Network Rail Class 73/9 No. 73951 'Malcolm Brinded' hauling classmate Class 73 No. 73952 'Janis Kong' on a cold 7th February 2017.
