The section of line between Bathampton Junction and Thingley Junction is presently closed for a six week period in order for planned engineering work to be undertaken. Part of the work has required the trackbed to be lowered in Box tunnel in connection with the GWML electrification project. Here at Middle Hill tunnel, an unidentified Colas Class 66 awaits its turn to enter Box tunnel in order to remove spoil and ultimately supply fresh ballast on 21st July 2015.
