Brush Type 4 diesel electric No. D1748 has a clear road through Dawlish on 26th May 1971 with a northbound Class 6 freight. New from Loughborough in July 1964, it became Class 47 No. 47155 under TOPS in 1974, going on to become No. 47660 in September 1986 and finally No. 47815 in August 1989. It was named 'Abertawe/Landore' from July 2000 to January 2005. The loco is still on main line duty with Riviera Trains, repainted in two-tone green livery and named 'Great Western'. It was named at Crewe Works open day in September 2005.
