Lawrence Hill, being one of the inner-city suburbs of Bristol, plays host to 'Freightliner' Class 66/5 No. 66542 which is seen passing through the station while working a lengthy 4V34, 04:45 Felixtowe-Bristol Railport liner. The bridge in the background once carried the Midland Railway to Birmingham via Mangotsfield but the line closed in the 1960's. It is now in use by the Bristol-Bath cycle path, as seen on 11th August 2012.
