Most of its re-liveried Class 166 mates are beginning to look grimy after working through the very stormy winter just past, but No. 166214 has been recently out-shopped in its new colours and looks pristine as it starts out from Hungerford with a Bedwyn - Paddington service on 31st March 2016. The deep dark green gloss May look classy but does not photograph as well in the bright sunshine as the matt effect which its hard-worked stablemates are starting to take on, and has been mistaken for black in the gloomy days of winter!
