With freshly applied full yellow ends, English Electric Type 3 diesel electric No. 6995 is stabled between duties at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 29th November 1969. New from Vulcan Foundry in July 1965 and first allocated to Cardiff Canton (86A), it became Class 37/0 No. 37295 under TOPS in 1973. It was further re-classified Class 37/4 No. 37406 in October 1985 and was named 'The Saltire Society' during June 1986. The loco was withdrawn in October 2012 and scrapped by C F Booth of Rotherham during May 2013.
