A view inside Crewe Diesel Depot on 26th May 1971, with a number of locomotives undergoing maintenance. Two English Electric Type 4's are identifyable, No's. D448 and D412. The former was new in December 1968 and later became Class 50 No. 50048 'Dauntless'. D412 was new in March 1968 and later became No. 50012 'Benbow'. Both were cut-up after withdrawal.
