Having been transfered in from Bolton just 8 days before, Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 No. 73069 rests outside Patricroft MPD on 21st April 1968. It's stay was to be brief, for it was handed on to what was to become it's final allocation of Carnforth, on 6th July. New from Crewe Works in November 1954 and first allocated to Derby (17A), the loco was withdrawn in August 1968 and cut-up at Cashmore's of Newport during March 1969.
