At the rear of train 1Z71, 'The Africa Express' is DRS Class 47 No. 47810 working between Cardiff Central and Bristol Temple Meads on 7th September 2012 seen at Undy, near Severn Tunnel Junction. On the front of a very mixed-rake of coaches was sister locomotive No. 47805; both locomotives carried embellished buffers each with a map of Africa. The train was organised by Blur frontman, Damon Albarn to help promote the music of the continent of Africa and during the week from 2nd to 8th September it visited many towns and cities on the mainland of the UK.
