When Network Rail first put-up some Pallisade fencing at Cockwood Harbour there was much concern in railway photographic circles about the ruination of one of the most popular locations for viewing and photographing trains. Fortunately, the aformentioned fencing has been erected only at either end of the causeway between the River Exe and the harbour. This view taken on 21st April 2011 shows that photography is still possible with the original fencing hiding little of FGW's unidentified Class 143 working the 13.13 Paignton to Exmouth.
