A dismal day of heavy rain and thunderstorms requires the station lights to be illuminated at Chippenham as 'Genesee and Wyoming'-liveried Class 59/2 No. 59201 'Westbury PSB 1984-2024' passes by forming the 12:49 Appleford-Whatley Quarry empties on 6th September 2024. The locomotive which previously carried the name 'Vale of York', received its current name on 14th June following a ceremony held at the East Somerset Railway marking 40 years since the opening of the Westbury Area Signalling Centre.
