Having left the gloom of the short Ludlow tunnel behind, 'Transport for Wales' Class 67 No. 67014 slows for its scheduled call at the station atop the 16:49 Cardiff Central-Manchester Piccadilly service with Class 82 No. 82201 bringing up the rear. Worthy of note is the ongoing construction of a new lift shaft on the station's foot bridge seen on a cold and miserable 13th June 2024.
