With a collection of clouds drifting across thee morning sky, 'Merseyrail' Class 507 No. 507026 'Councillor George Howard' makes its scheduled stop at Birkenhead Central on 1st June 2022. These fine DC EMU's dating back to the 1970s are due to be replaced in the coming months by a fleet of 'Stadler Rail' built Class 777 EMUs.
