The ECML was again closed between Newcastle & Berwick-upon-Tweed on 25th September 2021, necessitating LNER Services to be diverted along the Tyne Valley between Newcastle Central and Carlisle. Here, Nine-Coach LNER 'AZUMA' Bi-Mode Class 800/1 No. 800102 passes the tall Prudhoe Signal Box (an NER N1 Box opened in the early 1870's and fitted with a 45 lever frame) on its approach to the recently refurbished Grade II listed Footbridge, working the 07:52 Aberdeen to London King's Cross Service.
