The Branch Line Society partnered with Drax to help celebrate 50 years of power generation and ran 'The Cooling Tower Choppers' Charter on 17th August 2024. Here, an immaculate GBRF Class 69 No. 69011 (recently re-liveried and re-built from No. 56032) approaches Knottingley East J'n, heading the B L S 14:07 Belmont Down Yard to Sudforth Lane Down Charter and passes 3 Immaculate DB Cargo Class 66/0 Nos. 66073, 66190 'Martin House Children's Hospice', 66050 (with its 'The Yorkshire Rose' nameplate covered - this is due to be unveiled at Drax on 18th August) stand at Knottingley East Junction, ready to re-commence working the 17:12 Knottingley T.M.D to Sudforth Lane Down 'light engine' service, where they will be coupled to the head of the 14:07 Belmont Down Yard to Sudforth Lane Down Charter service and 69011 will relocate to bring up the rear.
