The Branch Line Society partnered with Drax to help celebrate 50 years of power generation and ran 'The Cooling Tower Choppers' Charter on 17th August 2024. Here, Class 20 Nos. 20132 and 20118 'Saltburn-by-the-Sea' head the second leg from Leicester to Belmont Down Yard as they pass through Gainsborough Lea Road Station.
