It was in June 2010 that the former 'West Depot Freightliner' terminal located on the outskirts of Bristol was brought back into use for handling container traffic to and from the ports of Felixtowe and Southampton. Eleven years later, the terminal has been repurposed to handle aggregate traffic for onwards transportation to varying locations. Here at 'West Depot' 'Freightliner' Class 66/5 No. 66514 waits to haul the 11:29 departure to Banbury Reservoir Tarmac. In the foreground 'DCR' Class 60 No. 60055 'Thomas Barnardo' prepares to leave the terminal on 8th April 2021, with one of a number of driver training runs that have taken place during recent weeks to and from Westbury.
