Transport for Wales Class 153 No. 153333 passes Prestatyn with the 1230 Llandudno Junction to Chester ECS working. Class 153's working on the North Wales line are extremely rare. However, between 7th and 11th October, No.153333 has been working out from Chester to Llandudno Junction mid-morning and returning via Bangor (Gwynedd) in the early afternoon. Recently cascaded from GWR and acquiring TfW livery, the unit is being utilised for route learning purposes ahead of Class 153s taking over the Blaenau branch to allow Class 150s to be cascaded to other routes.
